Buddha's Noble Eightfold Path

Digg this

1. Right View. To see life through fresh eyes.. unbiased.. looking inwards.. perceiving the whole universe and divinity itself there..

2. Right Thought. To be able to channelize our thoughts enough to sieve through the maze.. watchful.. aware.. alert.. respecting the unique 'connection' like relay signals reaching far and wide.. affecting each one of us..

3. Right Speech. To understand how every syllable or note uttered in this universe reverberates with the music of the spheres.. affecting us all with the minutest discordant note..

4. Right Conduct. To understand no one is out there passing judgment on us except ourselves.. and no one being affected by the way we behave, except ourselves.. for if this life is our dream.. then we are the only 'reality' that getting affected by our conduct..

5. Right Livelihood. To know that whatever we do affects us.. and our livelihood determines how we feel about ourselves.. to be able to create not destroy.. for that's the path we choose for ourselves..

6. Right Effort. To understand how our Actions affect us.. to be able to help not harm.. for either way we do it to ourselves..

7. Right Mindfulness. To know how everything we do makes a difference to 'our' universe.. whether good or bad.. the total 'connected' oneness of all..

8. Right Concentration. To be able to look at our thoughts and actions.. and go deep enough to see their maze.. their fog.. their truth..

The Noble Eightfold Path is like nurturing our wisdom.. our Thoughts sown as seeds on the ground of mind.. our actions and love determining it's beauty and landscape.. weeding away our faults.. enlightenment the harvest we reap..
