The stars wink at each other, in a cosmic conspiracy.. pretending not to know where the moon was hiding.. spotlights on boats converge home gliding like spaceships to join the search.. myriad windows light up one by one, in debatable conjecture.. a different, page.. a different theory.. so many stories.. incessantly spun.. so unsettling looking at those windows.. holding expressions, and emotions, and joys, and worries, so close, yet so alien to each.. every life being the sun of their world.. while the world moves on, unconcerned.. the wind hollers with gentle chill, nudging us back to the search..
