we try to look back
and recognize ourselves
finding in vain that same image
ravaged through winds of time
a breeze or storm
all working towards us as we are now
footsteps blown away
fresh prints on the plane of our existence
now here .. now there..
some strengthening merging into us
till they leave us still struggling
to find ourselves
in the spaces left behind.....
