I care

Digg this

our mind is constantly at work.. every moment.. whether we are eating.. interacting.. reading.. playing.. whatever we do.. we are never ever wholly present.. yeah.. I felt that same skepticism too.. of course we concentrate.. are attentive.. pay heed.. but try watching your thoughts.. when you talk to a friend.. are you fully present there.. or is your mind tangled in your own worries.. or 'interpreting' what they are saying to what you think of it.. eager to put your point across.. 'missing' the minute nuances that help say, 'I care'.. for that moment when someone talks to you.. is about truly being 'heard'.. but we need to judge.. criticize.. opine.. simultaneously.. and in that moment.. we 'lose' the essence of what's being said..

don't know if this is 'conditioning'.. but there does seem to be a sense of urgency.. like needing to rush through life.. even for those who are idle.. none is ever able to just 'be' there.. wholly.. maybe life.. it's richness.. fullness.. vibrancy.. would truly be touched.. felt.. if we could just relish when we eat.. enjoying every morsel.. the aroma.. the taste.. the food.. talk when we speak.. listen when we hear.. see when we look.. each and every moment.. full of itself..

it just might breathe the magic in our lives that each is so desperately looking for.. every hue.. every sound.. every whiff.. every taste.. every touch.. raw.. sensual.. earthy.. honed to acute experiential essence.. 'alive'.. leaving nothing incomplete.. and we can exult in life.. and ourselves.. embracing one and all.. specially ourselves.. in joyous exclamation that says.. 'I care'..
