Just as A step though small covers every distance.. a coin could help mint a bountiful earth.. whether in schools, institutions, hospitals, colonies, societies.. whatever source level.. a coin a day is all it might take.. at our level, to fund free education, health, food, clothing, development, and most of the 'monetary' issues frustrating our desire to lend a helping hand..
If any one school has a strength of say 3000 students, that makes Three Thousand Bucks a day.. which with 5 study days translates into Fifteen Thousand Bucks a month.. with a ready infrastructure, what could stop these schools from granting free education after school hours.. the books, stationery, volunteers.. everything is right there.. requested and availed of at various moments for the benefit of the school..
In Hospitals specially a daily collection might stop a lot of ailing from being turned away due to insufficient funds.. In a Society, the collection helps fund the families of the security working there..
In school we had a 'mite box' in which every day each child had to put in 25p in aid of the needy.. what a beautiful idea.. how many of us want to help the people around, yet hesitate for some or the other reason.. and maybe these 'mite boxes' are what we need, at every level..
Each heart wants to help.. mistrust, time, means.. myriad reasons hinder this need.. a buck is all it might take.. but nothing transcends the need to give.. let us make possible the right infrastructure, at our level.. and see the 'bigger picture' resolve itself..
"Humans have an essential need to contribute to society.. like an affirmation of their birth.. still there is so much suffering.. still each soul thirsts.. neither able to find a deserving cause.. nor to help themselves.. missing entirely the symbiosis of human life.."
