those who help themselves..

A very close friend has been highly disturbed by the sequence of events that seem to come together sometimes culminating in a particular tragedy.. wondering if everything is pre-ordained, and out of our hands..

maybe each one of us has been through the same dilemma at some point or another.. we all know we are going to die at some point.. but the events leading to that end.. are definitely in our hands.. the 'choices' we make each day.. the 'ripples' they form.. the people, emotions, or things they attract.. everything contributes towards shaping 'destiny'.. maybe no one can really predict the future.. because each one of us.. mould.. carve.. it every moment.. and even though none of the astrologers would turn around and say so.. but it really is in our hands.. the only 'contribution' they make to it being.. helping us have faith.. making us believe.. in all they say.. and belief is what makes things happen..

If God lives in each one of us.. shouldn't that make us.. have more 'faith' in ourselves.. for when we pray.. we prove whatever we pray for is in our own hands.. we are the 'creators'.. we are the 'masters' of our own Destiny..
