We find blame all around.. point fingers everywhere
except at ourselves.. avoiding the mirror
or our reflections.. the greater the guilt
the louder the whine.. this veil of our Selves
when will it ever rise.. when will we see
Within....
Others might be responsible for our plight
things just might not be so easy
but what do we do for ourselves
where has that duty disappeared
instead of complaining.. pointing fingers
wasted efforts in themselves
why don't we have the courage
to get up and do something
with a defiant smile....
How can we blame others for cheating on us
when we ourselves couldn't care less
and continue to avoid the mirror
and continue to live in self-made hells
contented delusions.. a false sense of power
yes, someone else is to blame
sympathizing with the handicapped
we move on carrying
our own crutches.....
